About Me

I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from the University of Arizona with a Master degree in Public Administration. I spent 12 years in the United States Air Force as a Korean Linguist and 14 years as an analyst for the Department of Homeland Security. I have taught basic Korean language and Korean culture to elementary school students and tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students in Math. My passion in teaching is helping students find a way to make Math concepts click for them. I have always loved Math and I love being able to help students take a subject that may be challenging, distressing, and/or frustrating, and give them the confidence to tackle the problems and succeed. In my spare time, I love reading, walking my dog, playing golf, watching baseball (Go Padres!), and cheering for the Arizona Wildcats (Bear Down!).
