About Me

I graduated from the University of Arizona with degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have had a long career in software development and information technology in various industries, but I have enjoyed the mission and purpose of education the most. I have taught college classes in Engineering, specifically computer programming, and now I am eager to help students directly. Besides programming and digital logic, I have also tutored students in math, physics, and engineering. I am a life-long lover of math and logic and enjoy doing logic puzzles in my spare time. I like the one-on-one approach to teaching, as I can assess what the student is not understanding and try different approaches to the same concept. We all have various means of understanding, and there is no single fit for everyone, so my role is to find the right teaching method that resonates with the student. My goal is to help you achieve success as you define it, whether that is mastery of a subject, getting an "A" in the course, or just learning the basics.
