About Me

My name is Gerald Edward Smith. I am 61 years old. I have been married for over 35 years. I am raising my great grandson he is soon to be 7. I presently live in Louisiana, but I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. Professionally I am a retired Army Medic, also disable Veteran as well. I have been a hard worker all my adult life. Holding several jobs at any given time because I love medicine/EMS. My professional background is EMS/Medical as I have been doing this for over 40 years. Started out as basic Emt-B then Emt-A then Paramedic. I have been an instructor for almost 45 years and although my main background is medical. I have taught a plethora of other subjects because I am versatile and I a top notch instructor. The best of the best and I say this humbly. I am very passionate both young and old. I Believe in education we all can learn we never stop developing our minds. I am committed to whatever job/task I take on so if I am your tutor, you will get 110 percent support from me and then more. You will never have to look for me I am very prompt with time. We will have a great partnership to get you to your desired wants and goals. Two key components to my teaching tutoring is responsible and, commitment, ("SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND DO WHAT YOU SAY"). I previously worked for Veterans Affairs as a Telehealth Clinical Technician. I saw patients, plus ran two mental Health clinics. So, I have a background in dealing with all sorts of mental health disorders/issues. This job was such rewarding, but I left after 7 years to take over a position in the private sector at a 22 bed In-Patient mental Health Facility where I serve as the Hospital Administrator/CEO. I am excited to work with every client/student and for a partnership to accomplish set goals.
