Hi! I'm Shelley and I LOVE to help students learn! I am a nurse and an educator! I can take tough topics and make them easy to understand-- I helped a family member bounce back from a TWO grade-level deficit in math and reading just by teaching her some great study skills and breaking down difficult subjects using examples she could understand. Learning is for life, and educating is my passion! I'm enthusiastic, imparting fun and humor into things that one may find otherwise mundane.
I'm a masters degreed Registered Nurse with experience in the ICU, telemetry, cariolopulmonary, nephrology, urology, oncology, and primary care. I graduated from DePaul University with Presidential Distinction, and I was a full time professor at the College of Nursing at Purdue; now adjunct.
In addition to hands on patient care and educating, I have managed large scale outpatient medical practices in a variety of specialty areas for over 20 years.
