I am a Biotechnology-Advanced honour graduate at Seneca College @York university. Since my High school years, I have successfully tutored children of all ages in the K-12 category, and I have found tutoring to be something I am very enthusiastic about. Despite my young age, I have extensive knowledge in specific subjects like English, Mathematics, Social Science, Social studies, Biology, and Chemistry; However, I am most passionate about teaching English, Chemistry, and Biology as I pride myself to be very good at listening, speaking, reading, and writing english as expressed by my TOEFL test score. While I understand I am a lot younger than most tutors on this platform, I believe that could be an advantage to the students as youths seem to connect and relate more with people closer to their age brackets, so I could easily understand a lot of the student's learning difficulties as opposed to older adults, and this will in turn aid in my ability to discern the best teaching strategy or technique for the students for each student learns differently. As a college graduate who has recently taken several standardized tests in the past 6 years GCE, WAEC, and TOEFL, I am more up to date with the grading technique and examination structure as most of these standardized tests change patterns after a few years. Therefore, I provide my students with updated knowledge and scope regarding all aspects of the exams including the area of concentration (AOC) for each test. Apart from the academics of it all, I love children, and I love imparting the knowledge and insight acquired from my intensive college years into High school students as I feel knowledge should be shared! In addition, I have a bubbly, fun, patient, caring, and understanding personality with a positive approach to problems, and I believe that is the best personality type for all students of the K-12 category.
