About Me

I am proudly Canadian "Qubecoise" by adoption and proudly Colombian by birth. I am fluent in Spanish, French, Canadian French, and English. Spanish being my mother tongue, I learned French in an immersion school named Lycee Francais Louis Pasteur in Bogota. I graduated in Computer Science while I was living in Toronto, Canada, where I also had the chance to improve my communication skills in English. I began teaching languages at the Alliance Franaise, in Colombia, for 3 years, and I also worked as an English, French, and Spanish teacher at the Berlitz Languages Institute of Toronto, for 5 years. Since then and after moving to the lovely Qubec City in Canada, where I currently live, I continued tutoring languages as a complement to my main job. Then, after having my son, I decided to make teaching my primary job. Best decision ever! Currently, I offer a creative approach that could be fun and is also effective, by taking advantage of media, learning games, and engaging in dynamic conversations based on my students' interests. I get the priceless satisfaction of doing what I love while witnessing how my students grow and get passionate about the subject they are learning.
