About Me

I am also bilingual in Arabic and can tutor in the subject for those interested. History has always been my favorite subject, for I'm treated to an engaging story in every class. I believe in a constructivist approach to learning, and will act as a guide for the student to learn, explore and wonder. Lecturing does not engage the student in learning, and will hinder their progress, so I make it a point to provide discussion-based instruction, where the student has an active role in his/her own learning. I have an eclectic taste in music, enjoy reading and swimming, and will never say no to a friendly board game or a game of touch football.
