I genuinely believe that the close reading and analytical thinking skills that we practice in English classes make us more critical consumers of a variety of texts: from news headlines, musical performance, art work, to a written narrative. I'm starting my 12th year teaching AP Literature & Composition.

In my classroom, I challenge my students to learn through exploring new content, collaborating with each other and different classrooms, and through conversations.
