About Me

I am a passionate educator with experience tutoring subjects ranging from English and Math to Earth Science and Mandarin, working with students of all ages. I strive to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's needs. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence through interactive and engaging lessons, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also feel confident in their learning abilities. I am dedicated to guiding my students toward academic success while instilling a lasting appreciation for the subject matter, whatever it may be. As rewarding as learning is, I also understand that it can be very difficult at times. I pride myself on being able to connect with all sorts of students, whether they are ahead in class or are struggling to grasp the material. I also have proven experience working with students with learning disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening and music, all of which further enrich my teaching approach.
