About Me

My goal is to use my experience in Montessori education and early childhood development to support young learners through online tutoring and curriculum design. As a Kindergarten Readiness Tutor, I help preschoolers and early elementary students build the skills they need for a smooth and confident transition into kindergarten or first grade, laying a strong foundation for future learning. I also work as a reading specialist with students in grades 2-6, with training in phonology and linguistics. I focus on helping students strengthen their reading by building solid foundational skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, and word recognition, while also supporting vocabulary and comprehension. I use assessment to understand each child's needs and adjust my teaching to help them grow.
