I also have experience teaching adults in preparation for the GED tests. I have taught all academic subjects at the elementary and middle school level. At the high school level, my experience is in reading, English, and algebra. I believe that all students can learn and be successful with the appropriate learning environment and strategies in place. I have experience and training in the Orton Gillingham method of reading instruction. I have years of experience teaching students with learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and other areas requiring specialized instruction. My passion is helping students meet their goals and gain confidence and independence.

In my spare time, I love to read, garden, take care of my animals, and work with individuals with disabilities in my community.
