About Me

With a PhD in Microbiology I kept the love and interest in the subject alive, refreshing my knowledge through classes in Microbiology. My current teaching position in a middle school gives me the daily opportunity to work with students in different subjects, most of all in my favorite subjects of math and science. Born and raised in Germany going through the higher education there provided me with the skill to teach German at a private K-8 school and to raise my three children bilingual in English and German. I love teaching students and help them develop their skills and achieve their goals. I am patient, flexible, supportive and encouraging. My goal is to make students feel comfortable and open to learning.
