About Me

Hello! My name is Michelle. I have taught middle school English for 3 years and elementary school for 2 years. I am currently a therapist and a youth pastor, and I enjoy tutoring on the side. I speak English and Korean. I believe that encouragement and supportive attunement along with a lesson plan/guidance in the subject make a huge difference in student growth! That is how I approached teaching when I taught in public school, so that is also how I approach tutoring. There is a method and intention in the way I teach, and it has proven effective; the students I have worked with have also made tangible progress evident in their assessment scores and progress reports. I typically work off of a curriculum with my own supplemental lessons when necessary.
