M.A in social studies: Bushnell University M.A in philosophy: Luther Rice University B.A in education: University of Oregon Licensed Secondary teacher for the state of Oregon, with social studies and ELA endorsements Completed a 160-hour TESOL course Taught in alternative education, and as a substitute teacher in all subjects. Taught secondary social studies and writing in Elim, Alaska, a Native Alaskan village Taught business, math, science, and TESOL (ESOL/ELL) in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm passionate about education's role in the betterment f society as a whole, and the individual live s of each student, as they strive to become the best versions of themselves. I believe in student-centric, constructivist teaching, where the students have the freedom to utilize their unique learning styles, personalities, and interests in the pursuit of key academic and personal skills.
