I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Alberta my thesis project involved the design, synthesis and testing of enzyme inhibitors on an enzyme I isolated from bees. Chemistry has always fascinated me, it allows you to see the world in a completely unique way. I enjoy passing that on to my students. I look forward to helping students with organic and general chemistry both at the college level and high school. I enjoy teaching and the personal interaction with students. I want to help students succeed both at their academics and at their goals in life. I believe each student is an individual and I love tutoring as it allows me to cater the lesson to be exactly what each student needs. With all the interruptions that have occurred in students education in the last few years I want to do what I can to help students catch up and get back on track.

I enjoy travelling to different parts of the world to experience different cultures and environments Two of my favourite memories are listening to the monks chant in Nepal and seeing lion cubs come running to their mother in the Serengeti. I also enjoy spending time in nature, especially in the Rocky mountains near my home. I also love music, theatre, reading, movies and especially spending time with my family and my two cats.
