I received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a focus in Language Arts from UNM and a Master of Arts in educational leadership from Golden Gate. I also have aTESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certificate and have been certified in the Science of Reading. Reading has always been a love of mine and I like sharing that with my students and helping them discover their own abilities in that area. While working with Varsity, I have had the pleasure of helping several elementary students with math, writing, and reading. When working with a student, my goal is to help them become more confident and successful in the areas that are challenging for them. I believe education is very important and I want to instill a love of learning in my students. I want to help them build a solid foundation while they are young so that they can be successful later in life.
