About Me

With more than 10 years of tutoring experience, I am adept in mathematics (elementary, middle school, and high school) and science. My on-the-job experience has also afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate communication and presentation skills. I excel at multitasking the multiple learning needs of each student, developing materials, reporting on progress, and managing educational time. I love playing with my three children and working with them. I like to keep up with my own reading and writing when I can, and I also volunteer to teach SAT mathematics (a subject in which I have a geeks need to study and learn more about all the time!). I have a new-found interest in art after teaching "Learning to Look" for my son's class. I've been known to race my students to finish math puzzles, I read whenever I can, and I like to participate in warrior dash races. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for tutoring.
