With a Bachelors Degree of Science in Physics, from the University of Havana Cuba (1974), I have grown a solid experience within a career of over 35 years teaching and tutoring Mathematics and Physics. I have been working the last eight years for Valencia College in Orlando, Florida in two different capacities: as a tutor and as an Adjunct professor of Mathematics. Even though these complementary jobs give me a wider perspective on education I feel a lot more rewarding and exciting tutoring because I have the opportunity to make a difference in students' future and I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students to understand my subjects, improve grades significantly and grow their own learning potential. I specialize in tutoring any level on Mathematics, Physics and Spanish Language for success in school and preparation for Special or Standardized Examinations. Whether working in a Middle School, High School or College level topics I always provide students with advise on the sufficient body of work in every topic, clarification of concepts as well as guidance to work in exercises and problems solving. In addition I will provide free consultation meetings of about 10 minutes before and after the actual lesson to address several matters of interest for the student and my own work such as homework, progress and more. A very fundamental fact of education is that hard work and dedication to study pay off. This is one reason why in my tutoring style there is always time for student work, for questions, discussions and also some suitable challenges: they all will be helpful to develop understanding and skills needed to be a confident and successful student.
