I have loved math all my life and I took lots of it in school as I obtained my BS in Electrical Engineering Technology. I even attended math contests. Now I have the opportunity to help others with their math. I have been tutoring for more than nine years and I really enjoy it. I work with students in middle school, high school and college level math. My daytime job, for six plus years, was tutoring college students in math and electronics. I don't just give out the answers but I help the student with the methods to find the answers. I can help with algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, AP calculus, math I, II and III. I am also very good with computers and Microsoft Excel.

I am a graduate of the University of Kansas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and in Germanic Languages and Literature. I absolutely love to travel and experience different cultures! After graduating from KU in 2013, I spent a year in Northeastern Germany working as an au pair. I am most passionate about and have the most experience with German and English as a Second Language, however I am also very interested in History. Although there are many little tricks that can be taught to help students correctly answer math problems, these tricks often come at the cost of true understanding. Only when a student truly knows the material with a certain amount of depth will he/she be able to answer the most challenging questions.Outside of class, my interests are music and sports. While working on my M.A., I volunteered as an after school tutor for Brain Boosters.After receiving my M.S., I accepted an offer to become Director of Brain Boosters. My position allowed me to work directly and indirectly with students ages 5-12. Also, I educated and supported all of our college-age and adult tutors. During my 3rd year of law school, I began a full-time judicial clerkship for a district court judge and then began working as an assistant county attorney upon my admission to the bar. I passed the bar exam (UBE) on my first try with more points than needed for my jurisdiction.
