I am currently a Harvard student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. I graduated Class Valedictorian in high school and was named National Merit Finalist. I took 16 AP classes in high school, including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C : Mechanics and AP Physics 1, with a score of 5 in all of the tests. I scored a 1570/1600 in my SAT and 800 in the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test and 790 in the SAT Physics Subject Test.

I am also adept in tutoring english grammar, language, and literature. There are few things I enjoy more than a true challenge, whether it be physical or mental. I aspire to be a great inventor and hope that my ideas and creations may simplify life as we know it and bring health, comfort, and joy to the masses. My favorite book is "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett and I recommend that everyone read promptly.

I'm a passionate explorer, educator, and scientist. I am a Planetary Science Researcher (PhD, 2008). I write grants to NASA to use spacecraft data to study the composition and evolution of rocky planetary bodies (Moon, Mercury, asteroids). My research is broad and interdisciplinary that equips me to tutor many subjects and also to show students connections between subjects when it improves subject mastery. I have been teaching and tutoring for over twenty years, at every level of my education and career. In high school I taught aerospace education and aviation search and rescue while I earned my pilot's license. As an undergraduate at Duke I tutored athletes in Geology, Calculus, and Electrical Engineering core courses and I was a teaching assistant for Computer Science and Linear Circuits Laboratory. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in geology. And as a professor, I've taught undergraduate and graduate science courses at a major U.S. research university. Most recently I designed a combined English and Engineering elective to students with limited English Proficiency at a small university in Colombia.

I'm an undergraduate at Princeton University working toward a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with the Sustainable Energy Certificate.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I am also a graduate of the high school International Baccalaureate Program. I have informal experience tutoring high school physics, but am most passionate about tutoring students for the ACT standardized test, having had extensive experience preparing for standardized tests throughout high school. I am eager to aid students in boosting their scores before their upcoming college applications, an important milestone in many students' lives. In my free time, I also enjoy playing tennis.

I am a sophomore at the Georgia Institute of Technology and am working towards a major in Computer Engineering. I have been tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds in various math topics ranging from elementary school math to AP Calculus throughout high school. I love teaching math and always find it amazing to watch my students grow and improve in their mathematical abilities. While helping students with standardized testing, we go through several tricks and tactics that have helped my students succeed and have fun in the process. I am also well versed in Physics and have spent 3 years taking the highest levels of physics courses. I love playing all sports (especially soccer) and enjoy playing the guitar in my free time as well.

I'm Veena and I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Microbiology and Immunology with Chemistry and English Literature as my minors. I've tutored at a Math and Reading learning center in high school and became an employee of the Academic Resource Center at UM where I tutored my peers in STEM subjects. I was an assistant science teacher at a middle school for a year, and a workshop leader for chemistry classes at UM.

I am working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Pure and Applied Mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy and Physics. I have enjoyed studying math and science since I was in elementary school. I would always help my friends out by answering their questions about the material. For about the last five years, I have had my own tutoring business where I have tutored a wide variety of math courses from elementary school math to pre-calculus and calculus. I'm in my 2nd year of medical school at the University of Central Florida. I am currently a senior in the Honors program, on track to graduate summa cum laude, and approaching completion of an undergraduate thesis on my work in the university's nanotechnology lab.

I am one year from completing my Bachelor of Science at the Florida Institute of Technology. I am majoring in both Astronomy and Astrophysics, as well as Planetary Science; with a minor in Computer Science. Upon completion of my Bachelor degree I plan on pursuing a Masters degree, most likely in Physics, Exoplanetary Studies, or Engineering Physics. I find that most students struggle in math and physics because they lack true engagement towards these topics, it is my personal philosophy that how you learn a subject can immensely impact your abilities to succeed in and willingness to pursue related subjects in your academic career. I enjoy working with all ages, as I believe it is never too late to start learning and I enjoy helping students become passionate about their studies. I'm not shy, but if you are it's ok I once was too. I'm a student of the mind and so all of my teachings will be tailored toward each individual or group traits that day. It's ok to fail, but don't allow yourself to quit. Learning is hard sometimes because everyone's brain understands things in a different way. But those differences, when explored, can make learning fun and make complex topics easier to understand. I'm not the old guy who loves hearing his own voice and likes to stand; so I don't lecture. I like to keep teaching/learning process fun, interactive, and creative because no one likes to be bored and confused. So involvement is key!

I'm currently an undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. I mostly tutor subjects that reside in the STEM field as those subjects are my strong points. I have been a tutor in the past back in high school. During that time, I realized that helping students understand difficult material can be very awarding.
