I am a graduate from UC Berkeley and currently pursuing a second degree in Nursing. I work as an Emergency Medical Technician and as a Nursing Assistant. When I'm not working or studying, I'm usually running, practicing guitar, or cooking with my fiance. I love to teach as much as I love to learn. I am currently a 5th grade teacher in the beautiful state of Arizona. I have worked with Varsity Tutors for over 5 years now, helping a variety of learners meet the needs of their learning. I graduated from Florida State with my Bachelors in Education and I jumped right into teaching here in Phoenix in 2023.

I am diligent in setting deadlines, editing drafts of term papers, and sharing scholarly resources. My mentoring strategy is both nurturing and persistent, probing the students to find their authorial voice and then guiding them in discovering a logical mode of argumentation.

I am tutoring for test prep or for school subjects, my goal is always to inspire, educate, and motivate each student to grow and learn.
