Helping students grow is a passion of mine; it is, in fact, my life's work. Since I graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2001 and NC Central University in 2005, I have worked to help students develop their potential in my roles as as an Exceptional Children's Teacher, Middle School ELA teacher, High School English and Social Studies teacher, and College Developmental Reading/Writing and English/History/Humanities instructor.

Darron Hannah received his B.A. in English education from Georgia State University. He went on to earn his Master of Education in leadership and administration, his Educational Specialist degree in curriculum and instruction and his Educational Doctorate degree in education curriculum and instruction from Liberty University. Darron has proceeded to build on his career in education as an education specialist in curriculum and instruction. He prioritizes student engagement and connection and is experienced in teaching students from K-12 to college level. He has been tutoring English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as test prep, for over seven years and uses a student-centered approach, teaching skills and strategies in order to prepare students for the ACT/SAT as well as all other standardized tests. Throughout his schooling, Darron was involved in reading clubs, spelling bee, track, and basketball.
I am a highly motivated individual who is always looking for ways to share knowledge with a fellow being. I like figuring out my student's best learning style/approach. I have my bachelors in math and my master's in secondary education. I thought my best subject area was Algebra until I was assigned to teach Geometry. I will like to help my students reach and surpass their learning goals.
I believe that everyone can learn. The secret is finding how you learn. Focus on your abilities.
I am passionate about helping students because I believe every learner has unique strengths and the ability to succeed when given the right support. As a Special Education teacher, I have h ad the privilege of working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, providing both resource instruction and co-teaching in subjects like math and English Language Arts. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Western Governors University, followed by a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Special Education/Autism from Liberty University. I am currently pursuing my Education Specialist degree in Special Education at Liberty University to deepen my expertise. My certifications in Special Education General Curriculum (P-12) and Early Childhood/Elementary Education (P-5) allow me to support a wide range of learners, and I also hold a license as a Health and Life Insurance Agent in Georgia. I tutor math, reading, writing, and study skills, but my favorite subject to tutor is math because I enjoy helping students build confidence as they work through challenges and discover their problem-solving abilities. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and tailoring lessons to each student's needs while creating a supportive environment that makes learning enjoyable and engaging. I believe in meeting students where they are and guiding them step by step toward their goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active, exploring new learning opportunities, and spending quality time with family and friends.
