I am passionate about teaching because I understand greatly a lot of the academic struggles and problems students may face through education, especially as a first generation college student. Currently I am studying for my medical doctorate degree (M.D.) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I graduated UCLA with a Biology degree with Asian Languages minor in 2019, cum laude honors. Both during my undergrad and days since, I had a chance to tutor private clients in Southern California and work for a few exam prep companies. I enjoy tutoring math, sciences (chemistry, biology mainly), social sciences (history, politics), essay writing, and Japanese. I also help assist in studying for standardized exams (SAT, ACT, SAT Subject, AP, MCAT, PCAT, OAT)! My tutoring style will be very direct in trying to identify gaps in knowledge and working/practicing on those gaps. I like to be interactive and answer the students' questions directly. I strongly believe education is one path in which students may be able to reach their dreams and I will be your supporter along the way. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, practicing martial arts, and watching anime/playing games.

I'm in my final year of medical school and have an interest in specializing in Oncology. I did my undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a concentration in Pre-Professional Healthcare. I love to teach Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Pathology. My teaching style relies heavily on the use of visual aids to help my students understand concepts in a 3D plane! In my free time I like to partake in boxing, play tennis, basketball and read mystery fiction novels. I hope that I can assist you in your future academic needs!

I'm a 2016 graduate of Pepperdine University with my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Currently I'm preparing to apply to optometry school; I hope to be accepted for the 2018-19 academic year. During my time in college, I was involved as a teaching assistant for General Chemistry I and II laboratory, as a tutor for General Chemistry I, as a member of the Regents Scholar Student Board, and as a "small group" leader through multiple organizations. I am a member of the sorority Pi Beta Phi and held the positions of Historian, Senior Transition Leader, and member of the Leadership and Nominating Committee during my undergraduate years. As far as tutoring goes, I offer my services to students of all ages and in numerous subjects. I particularly enjoy tutoring the STEM subjects. I also thoroughly enjoy working with female STEM students, which allows me to serve as a role model and to offer additional encouragement for my female students to not lose interest in STEM subjects. A large part of my tutoring style focuses on logical thinking for how to tackle new and difficult problems using previous knoledge and educated hypotheses; I have found that my students find both success and a boost in confidence using my methodology. Aside from my academic interests, I love cooking and baking, my cat, photography, and National Parks.

I'm in my 2nd year of medical school at the University of Central Florida. I previously graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Human Biology and Education Studies. I was an Academic Mentor for underprivileged San Diego communities. I was also a Teaching Assistant for the Biology department at UCSD. I have taught in a variety of settings; from one-on-one tutoring to review sessions for 300 people in a lecture hall. I primarily tutor MCAT, SAT, and the SAT.
