After taking a break from tutoring to travel North America and abroad, I'm glad to get back into doing what I love...having interesting conversations about subjects that can seem very boring. While standardized testing seems to drain the life out of every subject, there are ways to make it fun while still having the tools to ace the test. My style of teaching integrates the real world as much as possible, while still instilling a strong control of the conceptual aspects. I focused on Political Science and Environmental Studies in college, but also enjoy math, physics, literature, and fine art. This passion came from the experiences of my own siblings who lost their first language because there was no support available when they arrived in the United States. In my experience, helping students attain English proficiency not only helps the students but their families as well.
