Math Tutoring review by Wan Wen (Jovana) in San Francisco-Bay Area, CA
We started our review session today for the student's final exam. The review sheet covered the entire course topics that we've discussed so far (from Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to Series). We picked the most representative question set from each topic and went over it. He had to solve the problem and show his work to me so that I can see if he got it or not. We'll continue to finish this review next Monday.

Math Tutoring review by Brian in San Francisco-Bay Area, CA
For this session, the student and I worked on a review of Taylor and Maclaurin series. This was a valuable refresher, because it has been nearly a month since we last looked at any series problems. Fortunately, after working through some of the easier problems, he was able to get right back in to the swing of these series. The student seems confident and at this point generally works on summation problems without a calculator unless otherwise specified. This will help him immensely on the AP test and in future math classes in general, as he has become adept at transforming mathematical expressions into ones that are easier to work with.

The review packet that the student had from her teacher was quite extensive with approximately 60 questions. During our time together we covered about 1/3 of the review packet. The questions she had the most difficulty with were ones involving real vs imaginary numbers and performing calculations with I in them.
