LSAT Tutoring review by Kathryn in San Diego, CA
This session the student and I continued working on linear games, and got to doing some actual games together. First we finished going over the tactics that our book gives on linear games and logic games in general, including framing questions in terms of truth and identifying what wrong answers will be. We then got into doing games together, starting with some very basic linear games. She was doing very well with these. I gave her two more games to do on her own before our next session. We will go over those together and move on to advanced linear games.

LSAT Tutoring review by Neil in San Diego, CA
Today was my first meeting with the student. We went through the basic structure of the test, the types of questions, and general strategies for approaching the examination (don't be afraid to guess if you're running low on time, always try to eliminate an answer rather than confirm it, etc.). More than this, I walked him through some practice problems. He scored unusually well for someone who has no experience with the test. I believe this indicates a strong facility for logical reasoning and tasks, indicating that I should focus on test skill building with him so as to give him the best shot at a high score.
