Fall Semester ENG 101 3 credits: ENG 101 is designed tostrengthen college-level writing skills, with particular attention toaudience, purpose, and hetorical situation focusing on the wrtingprocess and introducing research. The use of these courses requiresparticipation in CCSD dual/concurrent programs. Students whosuccessfully complete ENG 101 with a grade of "C" or higher will beeligible to enroll in ENG 102.

Spring Semester ENG 102 3 credits: ENG 102 is a continuation andextension of ENG 101 and equivalents with attention to analyticalreading and writing, critical thinking, and research methodologies,while emphasizing interpretation, analysis, synthesis, and argument.The use of these courses requires participation in CCSDdual/concurrent programs.

It isintended to increase mathematical fluency in problem solving,reasoning, modeling, and effective communication in the study ofnumber, algebra, functions, and statistics.
