School Mission

Shawnee Heights School District has a charitable not-for-profit district foundation organized exclusively for educational purposes.  The Shawnee Heights Public Schools Foundation is composed of a twelve-member board of directors whose governing of the foundation is completely separate from the school district Board of Education.  The foundation's Board of Directors provides leadership, advice, and other professional expertise in determining the distribution of foundation funds.  The purpose of the foundation is to establish a monetary fund for educational projects or grants throughout the Shawnee Heights School District.  Contributions made by individuals or groups may be designated for a specific purpose or may be donated to the foundation to be used for teacher grants or other projects established by the foundation.
