For students with above grade level skills in reading and writing. Includes increasingly complex tests and write in various modes, with the additional expectation of extended reading, writing, and research.

Addresses four strands of literacy through a survey of World Literature. Writing emphasizes narrative, informative, and argument modes with sophisticated structures and research.
