Apprentices are employed by a contractor that self-performs carpentry and agrees to sponsor the apprentice. Participants receive related technical instruction at Osceola Technical College and gain on-the-job training (OJT) from their employer. After the introductory General Carpentry level, trainees can choose to pursue advanced building construction or concrete formwork. 576 classroom hours and 5,200 to 8,000 hours of on-the-job learning.

Content includes reading construction documents, understanding building codes, pipe cutting and joining skills, and plumbing layout and installation. 1080 hours (Approximately 11 months).

The content includes practical experiences with specialized skills in multimedia presentations such as imagery, time-based media, internet communication, and audio used to produce interactive multimedia presentations. 1050 hours (Approximately 11 months).

Content includes double-entry accounting principles, recording business transactions, preparing financial statements, payroll records and tax forms, accounting control systems, account analysis, inventory methods, the aging process, depreciation, and the application of accounting principles to various entities. It emphasizes technical skill proficiency, higher-order reasoning, problem-solving, and general employability skills. 900 Hours (Approximately 10 months).

Content includes dental office and patient management, basic dental laboratory procedures, dental and general anatomy, terminology, nutrition, instrument and equipment utilization, microbiology, pharmacology and anesthesia, chairside assisting and expanded functions, dental office emergencies/CPR, dental radiography, maintenance and asepsis, dental specialty procedures, employability skills, leadership, ethics and jurisprudence, dental materials, and preventive dentistry. 1230 hours / Approximately 10 months.

It is designed to prepare students for employment as medical assistants. Content includes communication, transcultural communication, interpersonal skills, legal and ethical responsibilities, health-illness concepts, administrative and clinical duties, emergency procedures including CPR and first aid, emergency preparedness, safety and security procedures, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and employability skills. 1300 hours / Approximately 10–13 months pending on campus location.

This program provides unified learning and skills development through classroom instruction and on-the-job experience to prepare students for careers as Certified Medical Assistants. It is a registered apprenticeship program that combines paid employment with no-cost training. Unlike other career programs, apprentices are selected by employers or sponsors based on standards approved by the U.S. Department of Labor and Florida Department of Education. 2,674 total hours (2,000 hours of on-the-job training and 674 classroom hours).
