Nursing assistants provide basic bedside care in a variety of healthcare settings. This program readies students for employment in long term care, hospitals, home health and other facilities and qualifies graduates to sit for the state CNA exam.

In the senior year, the focus shifts to phlebotomy and allied health skills: blood collection techniques, safety and infection control, relevant anatomy and medical terminology and professional communication. Hands on practice and simulations build competence in venipuncture; graduates are eligible to take the national phlebotomy certification exam.
