Provides Physics credit; Foundation course in the Engineering pathway that introduces students to green technology and sustainable engineering practices.

Foundation course in the PLTW Engineering pathway. Students are introduced to the design process, sketching techniques, and modeling skills.

This course applies the Engineering design process to problem solve, design and create a series of unique products that satisfy both practical and aesthetic needs. This course will provide an introduction to design theory, prototyping software tools and equipment, various materials, and collaborative skills. Students will learn how the available tools and equipment function, the history of the development of these tools, safe operation of the tools and utilize a variety of software programs to design objects and then communicate those products with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines and other processes.

Intermediate course in the PLTW Engineering pathway. Students explore various technology systems and manufacturing processes to learn how engineers and technicians use math, science, and technology in an engineering problem solving process.

Advanced course for Architecture track in PLTW Engineering pathway. Students learn important aspects of building and site design and development through hands-on projects.

Advanced course for Engineering track in PLTW pathway. Students explore manufacturing methods and use CNC equipment and modeling software.

Capstone Course in the PLTW Engineering pathway. Students work in teams to research, design, and construct a solution to an open-ended engineering problem.

English 1,2 is a one-period literacy course required of all grade 9 students. The course content focuses on teaching the students skills and strategies for critical, independent reading and writing of increasingly complex expository and narrative texts. Instruction in each standards-based unit of study interrelates reading, writing, oral communication, and language study.

English 3,4 is a one-period literacy course required of all grade 10 students. The course emphasizes strategies for close reading and analysis of literary and informational texts, as well as writing for various purposes and audiences.

Advanced English 3,4 for grade 10 students who demonstrate readiness for more rigorous literary analysis and complex writing tasks.

American Literature 1,2 is the one-period literacy course required of all grade 11 students. Students will engage in close reading of canonical and contemporary American literature while developing skills in literary analysis and argument.

Honors American Literature for grade 11 students. This course provides a more rigorous examination of American literary traditions and requires advanced analytical and writing skills.
