Year one of the Automotive Collision Repair program introduces students to the core skills of the trade through classroom learning and extensive lab work designed to build both confidence and technical ability. Training emphasizes shop safety and develops foundational skills in metal straightening, MIG welding, plastic repair, and detailing. Students also learn to repair, replace, adjust, and install trim and accessories while gaining experience in researching and purchasing used vehicles for quality repair projects that mirror industry practices. Instruction covers advanced metalworking and fabrication, panel replacement, body alignment, refinishing, painting, and detailing with industry-level tools and materials.

Year two of the Automotive Collision Repair program challenges students to apply and expand on the skills learned in year one while preparing for advanced certifications and industry-level expectations. Training moves beyond the basics into advanced estimating, shop management procedures, and custom refinishing techniques. Students refine their skills in welding, metalworking, and structural analysis, while also exploring advanced applications in collision repair technology. Instruction covers advanced panel replacement, frame alignment, precision measuring systems, and custom refinishing. A key part of year two is participation in work-based learning placements with local dealerships and repair facilities.

Year two of the Automotive Technology program builds on the foundation from year one and pushes students to apply their skills in advanced vehicle systems and real-world scenarios. Training expands into engine performance, advanced electrical diagnostics, climate control systems, drivetrains, and steering and suspension at a higher level of complexity.

Building Construction is a career field that blends craftsmanship with modern technology to create and maintain the structures we depend on every day. Students in this two-year program receive training in a wide range of construction practices that prepare them for entry-level positions in the industry. Training focuses on the safe use of hand and power tools, blueprint reading, measurement and layout, and the fundamentals of carpentry, electrical, and masonry.

Advanced training expands into framing, roofing, finishing, advanced project-based work, drywall, cabinet installation, and specialty work that requires greater precision and efficiency.

Year one of the Cosmetology program introduces students to the foundations of professional beauty services while building the habits of safety, precision, and customer care that define the industry. The first year emphasizes sanitation, safety procedures, salon management basics, and the sciences of cosmetology—including chemistry, bacteriology, and anatomy—combined with practical application on mannequins and live models. As students progress through Cosmetology 2, training expands into professional hair care techniques, nail care, and skin care services. Students practice cutting, coloring, styling, manicuring, and facial treatments while developing professionalism and client communication skills.

Year two of the Cosmetology program builds on the skills developed in year one and challenges students to refine their craft at a professional level. Instruction emphasizes advanced techniques in hair design, color theory, chemical services, nail enhancements, and skin care. Students practice with mannequins and live models, gaining confidence in their ability to deliver consistent, high-quality results while demonstrating safety and professionalism. As students progress through Cosmetology 3 and 4, the focus shifts to mastery of state board-required skills and preparation for the practical and written licensing exams. Students also develop salon management knowledge, learning scheduling, client retention, and inventory practices that prepare them for work in professional salons.

Our Culinary Arts program is part of the South Carolina Hospitality & Tourism Career Cluster and is offered as a dual enrollment class with Greenville Technical College, allowing students to earn both high school and college credit. Students train in food production while developing professionalism and proficiency in cooking, cost control, nutrition, and sanitation. The curriculum blends culinary arts with management concepts, giving students an advantage over their peers in the food industry. Firefighting is one of the most rewarding and noble professions. You serve your community, protect property, and help people on their hardest day. Year one introduces students to the fire service through a mix of classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and realistic training scenarios designed to build confidence and skill. Training covers how fire behaves and provides real experience with the tools and techniques firefighters depend on daily—extinguishers, hoses, ladders, SCBA gear, search and rescue, and interior fire attack, all while emphasizing teamwork and safety.

Year two of the Firefighting program builds on the foundation from Year One and challenges students to apply their knowledge in advanced, real-world scenarios. Coursework includes building construction, ropes and knots, forcible entry, ventilation, water supply, salvage, overhaul, communications, fire prevention, public fire education, and community risk reduction. Instruction emphasizes advanced tactics, teamwork, and leadership in high-pressure environments where every decision matters.
