Physical education course focusing on fitness, lifetime sports, and healthy living.

Community service program requiring 45 hours of volunteer service for freshmen and sophomores, 90 hours for juniors and seniors. Develops good citizenship, increases knowledge of the world of work, and promotes awareness of career goals. Students volunteer every Wednesday during the school year.

The Pre-AP English II course is a survey of fiction and nonfiction texts built around four thematic units, with a focus on the analytic and argumentative writing that will be required in Advanced Placement courses. Students build skills needed to read complex texts, think critically, speak professionally, and write evidence-based essays for a specific purpose and audience.

Study of geometric shapes, proofs, spatial reasoning, and geometric relationships. Second course in the mathematics sequence.
