I recently moved from San Francisco to Atlanta to study pediatric nursing and public health at Emory University. I am thrilled to be in this beautiful city and feel so fortunate to be embarking upon my graduate education. I have always been passionate about learning and enjoy helping others reach their personal and academic goals. I graduated from Glynn Academy on St. Simons Island, GA in 2017. Currently, I am a student at the University of Georgia studying Environmental Engineering. My favorite topic to tutor is algebra. I know how important having a strong foundation in algebra is since I still use it in school everyday!Outside of school, I love to hike and camp. I camped for two months in the American West, visiting over 20 National Parks, in 2019.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Georgia, with a bachelors in Biology. Currently, I am working for a stem cell research lab at the university. I am super passionate about helping students of all levels grow into the smart young learners that I know they are. My teaching style is very nurturing. My name is Kenneth, and I am a current candidate for a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Emory University. I previously completed my bachelor's in physics also at Emory. I intend to teach high school physics at the 11th or 12th grade level. I am currently conducting my pre-service teaching internship at various levels of secondary education.I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for Astronomy for two years, and as a personal tutor for three years.

Hello! My name is Jaime Rakowski, or "Mrs. Rakowski" to my students. I am a graduate of Central Michigan University as well as Kennesaw State University. In the 8 years after I graduated from CMU with my Bachelors of Applied Arts in Child Development, I worked in many daycares as my husband and I moved for his job. During this time, I worked with infants-school aged children. After settling down here in Georgia, I went back to KSU to earn a second bachelors degree. This time it was a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. After graduating from KSU, I was hired to teach 3rd grade at the elementary school that I student taught for. I spent 3 years in 3rd grade and moved down to 2nd grade where I taught an additional 3.5 years. In early 2021, I also received my ESOL certification.Working with children from birth-5th grade, I have seen the huge importance of early childhood literacy. Early literacy has a major impact on a student's success in and out of the classroom. This is where my passion lies. But reading isn't the only thing that I love to teach! I also love math and social studies. Above all, I love to learn and I love to foster and build that love of learning within each of the students that I work with.

I am a college student at the University of Pennsylvania with a passion for learning and teaching. I am a Sociology major with a minor in Consumer Psychology.

I'm a certified English Special Education teacher for grades K-12 and a certified General English Education teacher for grades 6-12. My goal is to meet your student at the level they are currently working on. Then, help them increase skills to grow in areas of learning that he or she struggles in to reach their educational goals.

I am a College Readiness Instructor for a university, as well as an Adjunct Professor. I have experience teaching in person and online.I believe in helping students get from point A to point B and making sure that they understand their subject areas of focus. I am a hands on coaching through encouragement type of tutor. I use 7 different formats to reach the students at their point of need. I also have experience tutoring students on the ACT and SAT. I look forward to working with students from a variety of backgrounds and helping you reach success!

My goal is to educate today's youth to become tomorrow's innovators and leaders. I am currently in my 8th year of teaching with two Masters in Education. Additionally, I have been working with adolescents directly for the last six years. I look forward to a great relationship with you.
