I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. I believe in the advancement of education and helping others do so as well. I enjoy helping students reach their academic goals and to help them learn alternative solutions to problems they face. Everyone learns differently but knowledge is something no one can take away from you. I know that many students learn differently and I change the way I tutor to best fit students to help them succeed.

I currently work as a compliance specialist in the banking sector. Prior to this, I received my Masters of Science in Economics from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2019, and my BA in Economics from DePaul University in 2017. During my junior year of undergrad, I was an exchange student at Sciences Po's campus in Reims, France.I enjoy helping others learn things that they may struggle with or dislike, and I always welcome a challenge!

I graduated from Hastings College with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in literature. I have worked in the education field as a substitute teacher and an educational assistant. I am currently employed as an educational assistant in a special education classroom at a middle school level. I am passionate about education and helping students to reach their full potential and feel confident in their abilities. I feel reading and writing are the foundation for a successful educational experience as they are necessary to succeed in all areas of learning. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, computers, and spending time with family.

I've spent my career in education, primarily either as a scientist or more so as a science teacher at the secondary level. I also taught English and math, GED, and Praxis prep, so I have a variety of skills.

I was a teaching assistant for UNO and have taught introduction to biology labs & assisted with ecology and limnology labs. I currently volunteer at a local wetland during family orientated events and have volunteered with other organizations that focus on science outreach to k-12 students. I firmly believe each student can do well in biology, they just need the right tools. These tools, which vary between students, are based in study skills, instruction, and a positive mindset. When I am not working on my degree, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time in nature.

At both my undergraduate and graduate institutions, almost all of my homework consisted of reading texts or writing papers. Therefore I have continuously enhanced my English composition skills. I know how to read and analyze texts quickly without losing content. Reworking information I've read together with my own thoughts is now second nature to me. I make my writing particularly clear by my impeccable understanding of English grammar, which I gained through extensive practice and from studying four other languages (French, German, Latin, Ancient Greek).
