I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors of Arts in English and Philosophy. At Notre Dame, I worked as a tutor at the University Writing Center, helping both undergraduate and graduate students with their writing. I also tutored local middle school students in reading and writing to prepare them for standardized tests. I had the opportunity to live in Spain for 6 months, where I became fluent in Spanish and developed a love for tutoring English language learners. Since graduation, I have worked with students at Midtown Educational Foundation and other extracurricular programs, and am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching English. I tutor a wide range of subjects, although I am most passionate about English, Spanish, and Writing. I am an advocate of student-centered tutoring, and my goal is to support and guide students so that they have the satisfaction and confidence of knowing how to think through a problem and reach the correct answer. In my free time, I love to bake, read, play soccer, and act in plays.

I am a graduate of Brown University, where I earned my B.A. in Literary Arts and Visual Arts, taking courses in a wide array of subjects ranging from contemporary American fiction to ancient Indian classics. My first teaching experience came in college when I had the privilege of creating and teaching a series of literature courses at a local community center. There are few experiences I find more enriching than facilitating a meaningful dialogue centered around great works of literature and art. While literature and art are my passion, I also tutor in variety of other subjects, including math, science, and test preparation. I currently work as a lead teacher in the after-school program at Archway Classical Academy in Phoenix.

I'm a big Boston Celtics fan and I speak three languages. I can get you the test results you need to succeed because I went through the exams myself and performed well. The first time I took the SAT I actually wasn't satisfied with my score, so I spent 2 months working hard to get my score to where I wanted it to be. The second time I took the exam I saw a 200-point increase. Previously, I have had experience teaching the SSAT and the SAT. The student I tutored in SSAT successfully passed the exam is now attending a private high school abroad. I am a pre-Occupational Therapy student majoring in psychology with minors in neuroscience and art. I will be graduating with honors from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May, and I will begin Washington University School of Medicine's Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program this Fall. My academic pursuits have made me confident in my abilities to tutor those pursing degrees in social sciences along with those pursuing careers in health care. Currently my favorite subject is neuroscience. I fell in love with it after I started college and I plan on specializing in neurorehabilitionation as an occupational therapist.

I am from Tulsa, OK and came to Boston for college. I studied Biomedical Engineering at both Boston University during undergrad and Tufts University for my masters. After much thought, I deviated from a medical school track to pursue a career in the medical device industry. My love for math and science started around middle school, and I was strongly influenced by my teachers. Through tutoring, I hope to be a similar influence. As a born-and-raised Austinite, my interests include practicing yoga, sampling local food trailers, attending live concerts, and – perhaps most of all – cheering on my beloved Texas Longhorns in football.

I am a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry as well as MCD (Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental) Biology while minoring in Chemistry in 2015. I love exploring all of the cool things that this world has to offer. By dabbling in a little of everything I can set my sights on what really holds my attention. My primary interests lie in the sciences, where learning what makes our world turn drives my passion for knowledge.

I am a recent college graduate currently pursuing a career in publishing in New York City. My interest in tutoring and the publishing industry stem from the same source: I want to help instill in others the same love of learning I have felt throughout my life. I am currently a senior at the Stern School of Business at NYU, graduating this semester. I am majoring in Management and Finance with a minor in History. Professionally I aligned to Strategy Consulting overall, but have numerous interests in M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. I have tutored peers and students for the past 7 years of my life and I have always assumed a role of a mentor, instead of being a simple tutor. Tutoring in general is a perfect means of passing down tips and experience gathered over years of schooling that help numerous students, no matter where they are. Outside of all of these aspectes, I am an avid traveler and have a huge passion to touch every little piece of the globe. The world's various cultures and people have lived a different subset of experiences than we have in our Western society. The ability to open one's perspective to these varying views and approaches to life is a key element of learning and such experiences are critical to everyone's development. I am currently a sophomore at Columbia University in the City of New York. I am pursuing a degree in Earth and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Sustainability and Energy, and I am minoring in East Asian Studies (specifically, Japanese). After graduation, I plan on working in the renewable energy sector in either the United States or Japan.

I am a fourth year Medical Student in the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY. This is a seven year BS/MD program, so by the end of the seven years, I will have achieved both degrees. I have a lot of tutoring experience in the K-12 age especially in the 7-12 grade range. I have taught SAT, SHSAT, ACT, SAT subject tests and Regents exams as well. My favorite subject to tutor is math and biology, but I am able to tutor other subject areas like reading, writing, chemistry, and physics. My tutoring style is very student oriented with some lecturing. I make sure that most of the time I am asking questions, even if it is basic, just to get the student to always be on his/her feet. I also make sure to use a lot of diagrams and flow charts when teaching. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time exploring and doing photography. I also love listening to music, watching basketball, and spending time with friends and family.

I'm a fourth year medical student pursuing a career in Psychiatry and hospital administration. I have excelled throughout my years in schooling and hope to share my educational expertise with you!
