About Me

As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I have over 30 years of experience in both tutoring and classroom teaching. My specialties include AP Spanish Language & Culture, as well as Spanish 1-4. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore the language and culture deeply. I strive to connect with each student individually, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs and learning styles. My motivation for tutoring stems from witnessing students gain confidence and joy in their language skills, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their academic goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring Hispanic literature and culture, which enriches my teaching and brings fresh perspectives to my students.
