About Me

I completed my undergraduate degree and teaching degree at Queen's University in Ontario. I have a specialist in special education. I have a broad range of teaching experince. I have taught ESL in Toronto and overseas in Japan, Special Education on the primary level and have taught life skills to adults with developmental disabilities for the past 7 years. I believe that learning is done best when people feel relaxed, curious and are okay with not getting it "perfect" straight away. I am comfortable teaching any primary subject and have skills and strategies for managing attention deficit and organizational challenges. I love tutoring in math -- because I struggled with it as a kid -- and I love science and language arts.
