About Me

I am a registered nurse with a Master's degree in nursing education from Western Governors University. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management from the University of St. Francis and an associate's degree in Health Information from Midstate College. I have credentials from AMT as an RMA, from AHIMA as an RHIT, and certification in Brain Health from the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation. I have worked in mental health nursing first as a nurse in an inpatient unit and then in ER triage for mental health emergency situations. I have been an educator for many years, teaching in a certified medical assistant program and undergraduate nursing specialising in mental health and research.
