About Me

My B.A. is from St. Xavier University and my M.A. is from Loyola University. I tutor ESL/ELL, English, Phonics, Executive Functioning, and Learning Differences. What I am most proud of is tutoring, mentoring, and coaching my children. They became honor students, earned college degrees, and one of them is a graduate of medical school. My personal interests and hobbies include spending time with my family, history, music, and cooking. Tutoring individuals with executive function issues is something that is especially important to me. I have ADHD and personally know the challenges this presents. My personal story is also one of triumph. I survived a near-death experience and reversed a chronic health condition. This has given me a new sense of purpose. Every student's learning style is different. It is important to understand this. Believe in yourself and never give up is my motto. I am here to make a difference and look forward to meeting and talking with you.
