I am a graduate of the University of Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages & Literatures with a focus on cultural studies. After undergrad, I lived in Japan teaching English to elementary through high school students.
After staying in Japan for a few years, I went to graduate school at Florida State University, receiving my Master's degree in East Asian Languages & Cultures, and taught Japanese at the college level.
I enjoy teaching and finding common ground on which I can connect with students and have fun learning a new language together.
