I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Master's of Early Childhood Education degree. I have been in the education field for 18 years. I have taught preschool, and before and after school care at the elementary school level, I have also worked as a para-professional and currently work in the schools media center. As a preschool teacher, I have taught reading skills, to students and I have also done interactive story time as a preschool teacher and now in the school media center. When I worked as a multi-site manger I also help students with home work and study skills. I have worked with students one on one helping with reading skill. I have also worked with ESL learners.
I have taken graduate level reading skills courses on how to teach students reading and phonic skills.
I have also mentored many student teachers from the local college.
