Hello, my name is Maria and I have been tutoring with Varsity Tutors since 2021. During my time at Varsity Tutors I have taught elementary reading, phonics, science, English, and group classes.

I enjoy tutoring at Varsity Tutors and guiding students in their subject areas. Its great to be able to connect with students and families.

I have been in the field of education since 2003. During my time as an educator I have worked as a toddler teacher, preschool teacher, multi-site manager, and in the school media center.

I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Master's of Early Childhood Education. With a focus on reading.
