I graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. During my time at UMBC, I tutored a wide variety of students studying across many disciplines, always striving to meet them where they were as I helped them to understand not just what to do, but why they were doing it. I try to bring this approach to the broader framework of life, as well; while I'm well aware that many people simply don't enjoy math, I do my best to get them to understand why they should know some of it anyway.
