By teaching good study habits, organizational skills, and self advocacy.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

By instilling self-esteem and determination. Also, by making learning fun and meaningful.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

Continuous practice is what is needed. The more you practice a skill, the better you become at that skill.

What is your teaching philosophy?

All scholars can achieve success.

How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?

Start working with scholars on their reading level first before moving on. Teach the basic concepts of understanding sentences before moving on to full passages.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?

Understanding what the scholar/student wants to achieve in their learning.
