About Me

Hi, I'm Leila Qin, a native Mandarin and Shanghainese speaker with over ten years of teaching experience, including five years online. I began teaching while I was a student at New York University and have since worked with students of all agesfrom young children to K12, professionals, and government officials. I especially enjoy helping children and school-aged learners develop a strong language foundation through engaging, interactive lessons. My excellent Cantonese listening skills also allow me to help Cantonese speakers quickly learn Mandarin by emphasizing tone mastery as a shortcut to fluency. My classes are consistently rated five stars and praised for being engaging, supportive, and motivating.
