About Me

I am a graduate student from North Carolina State University with a Master's Degree in International Studies with a focus on Nonprofit Management, after obtaining a BA in International Studies with a concentration on Global Sustainability and Development. I have always believed that education is the most effective way to bring positive change around the world. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to help students in a variety of education settings (children's museum, Teaching Assistant). Additionally, I have a large international exposure. Over the years, I lived in three continents (Africa (Senegal), North America (USA), and Asia (Cambodia)), and I have visited more than 20 countries (France, Spain, Hungary, Morocco, Thaland, etc). French is my native language, so I am excited to assist students in improving their French fluency. I also speak Wolof, intermediate Spanish and a little bit of Japanese. I will be tutoring Conversation French, AP French, French 1, French 2, French 3, and French 4. My teaching philosophy relies mostly on conversation and activities (games, practice exercises, or icebreaker activities). Outside academia, I enjoy reading, painting, learning new languages, and spending time with my family.
