About Me

As a passionate educator with a Master's in British and American Language and Culture and a Bachelor's in Spanish and English Linguistics, I am a certified teacher in Korea. I have over 5 years of teaching English in Korea. Those experiences help me a lot as a Korean tutor here. My approach centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in my students. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I tailor my methods to meet their individual needs, ensuring they not only grasp the language but also appreciate its cultural nuances. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals while instilling a love for language learning that extends beyond the classroom. I don't only teach students who want to study Korean professionally. I also enjoy helping learners who simply want to listen, read, and speak for everyday communication. For those students, I focus on their interests and the things they genuinely enjoy. By talking about those topics together, my goal is to help them learn Korean naturally and have fun at the same time. For example, if a student became interested in Korean because they're a BTS fan, we might practice listening and speaking by watching the members' YouTube videos, and improve reading skills using their song lyrics. This way, students can learn the language through content they love, making the experience more engaging and meaningful.
