About Me

I graduated Elk Mound High School in 2021, at the tail end of COVID. From there, I moved on to UW-Madison and graduated with a degree in Biology (Honors), Global Health, and a certificate in Environmental Studies. During this time, I picked up tutoring English to graduate students, and continued tutoring until I graduated. After graduating, I worked in a daycare for a summer, and I absolutely loved it. I choose to tutor now because it combines my love of teaching with my love of students. I currently tutor math ~10 hrs/week, along with History, Science, Math, and Reading to 4 boys. My favorite subject to tutor is math because there are clear steps you are able to take to solve problems. My teaching style emphasizes independence. My goal is to teach students the content itself, and also how to learn new content, their own learning style, and test taking skills so they can excel in multiple academic subjects. I hope that you can see the passion I bring to spreading knowledge!
