About Me

With dual degrees in Art History (B.A.) and Studio Art (B.F.A.) from Hunter College, I bring both analytical depth and creative insight to my tutoring. I help students sharpen their visual analysis skills, strengthen their writing, and understand how artworks fit into broader historical and cultural narrativeswhether they're preparing for AP Art History exams or deepening their knowledge at the college level. In addition to tutoring, I've worked in the art world since 2018 at institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art and The Kitchen, experiences that keep my teaching grounded in real-world curatorial and artistic contexts. My sessions combine close looking, contextual discussion, and clear essay strategies in a supportive environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. Outside of tutoring, I stay engaged through gallery visits and personal art projects, keeping my approach rooted in both contemporary practice and historical perspective.
